Alex Cavan is an acoustic rock singer/songwriter, described as passionate to his craft, honing a powerful voice with a range of raspy yet smooth tones, accompanied by his acoustic guitar.
Drawing influence from the likes of Eddie Vedder, John Butler, Chris Cornell and many more, Alex has seen his way around the world with music for the past decade.
Starting in South Africa in 2012. Alex performed on stages across the country, From well known festivals such as Rocking The Daisies to intimate settings in the mountains of Hogsback, where he spent a month recording his second album, ‘Introspection’, in 2017.
Since moving to the U.K. in 2018 he has found his tracks frequently played on BBC, Introduced and played at a variety of festivals on the BBC Introducing stages to venues all around Europe, including a European Tour in 2019 showcasing his craft through Germany and Netherlands with a guitar and his loop pedal.
Since his second album. Alex has released 7 singles with the latest being ‘That Lovin’ in February 2022 and is currently working on his third full length album with the hopes of release by the end of the year.
